Go bold with wallpaper

I love what wallpaper does for a space. Adding texture, warmth, or a bold focal point. I blanketed my own living and dining rooms in a textured grasscloth and gave our tiny hallway a funky monkey motif.

And I’ve used graphic wallpapers in several projects.

So when a new client recently told me she was open to wallpaper in her master bedroom, I started looking for more inspiration immediately!

So what did I choose for my client? Well, here’s the master bedroom. We’ll be wallpapering the wall behind the bed.

I picked this gingko leaf pattern ($69.95/roll) from Designer Wallcoverings. The only reason I didn’t include them in my picks is because they are to the trade only, so you need a designer to buy it for you. This gingko print comes in several fantastic colors, but I chose this black-and-white design because it complements what my client already has going on, and it’s not too feminine. She is sharing this space with her husband.
